Aims, contents and method of the course

This course is the first part of two-semester course and is planned as an introduction into the general subject of physics-technics-gender. (The one-hour continuation in the SS concentrates in the physics teaching.) The following subjects are discussed in the course:

- Introduction to gender research
- Present status in statistics
- Motive research
- Famous female physicists
- General biographies of female technicians and physicists
- examples of national and international interventions
