Basics of acoustics: Sound waves, sould pressure and velocity, volume, acoustic impedance, Frequency and pitch.
Sound production: vibrating string, tube, cavities
Human voice: Pitch and formant frequency, word recognition
Natural tones of musical instruments, scales, decomposition and composition of vibrations
String instruments: Bowed, plucked and struck string, Transfer of vibration to (violin) body.
Wind instruments: Wave in tube, role of valves, tubes, and horn.
Sound sensors and sound recording.
Acoustics of concert halls.
