Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Aims of the course: Teaching fundamental technical methods and knowledge concerning important topics in particle physics related to actual research conducted at the University of Vienna and the HEPHY.

Content: Basics of four important advanced topics in particle physics research.

Methods: Students are expected to work through the lecture notes in detail to master the techniques and issues discussed in the lecture.

Assessment and permitted materials

Written exam.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

50% of the total number of points in the exam; linear scale.
