Assessment and permitted materials
Two tests in the form of take-home exams will take place during the semester and will be graded. The final grade for the PUE is determined by these tests. Handing in both tests is a requirement for a positive grade. Students might be asked to present (parts of) their solution to the test exercises on the (digital) blackboard. The outcome of these tests should be very valuable for student self-assessment concerning the lecture exam.

Attendance to exercise classes is strongly recommended, yet not mandatory (no signature will be collected).
Exercise sheets that should be worked on at home by the students will be posted regularly on the Moodle page of the course. In class the solutions to these problems will be presented and discussed in detail by the teaching assistant.
