Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The seminar is intended for students, who want to acquire soft skills that are becoming more and more important. It will be discussed, how scientific work is to be arranged formally correct and clear and this knowledge will then be trained on the basis of small seminar works. The structure of a scientific lecture will be discussed and trained practically. Technical support such as text processing and programs for computer presentation will be introduced and used.
Assessment and permitted materials
Assessment based on the continuous contributions to the seminar and the quality of the presentations.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Acquisition of knowledge and experience concerning the writing of scientific theses and the presentation of research results. For a positive assessment two oral presentations and the attendance of more than 50% of the seminars are mandatory.
Examination topics
Seminar presentations of the participants, discussions in the seminar.
