Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

This lecture aims to communicate the knowledge about first-order phase transitions and methods applied to study them with computer simulations.
Contents: Thermodynamics and classification of phase transitions, mean-field models, classical nucleation and transition state theories, order parameters and reaction coordinates.
