Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
This course introduces into the research areas of the group Electronic properties of materials and provides an overview of the various experimental methods and research equipment that are available in the group.
Assessment and permitted materials
Participation and discussions, development of measurement concepts.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
The aim of the course is the acquisition of methodical skills that are required for a master's thesis in the field of electronic properties of condensed systems.
Examination topics
Application of different measurement methods, such as electrical measurements in high magnetic fields and at low temperatures, optical measurements and spectroscopy, high-frequency measurement and characterization methods.
