Aims, contents and method of the course
Study of the literature to a subject in particle physics, identifying problems in that context and working on them.
Assessment and permitted materials
An entrance test about knowledge of advanced methods in theoretical particle physics is required. Progress and protocol of work on master theses is evaluated.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Positive entrance test. Successful acquisition of knowledge and know-how necessary for performing a master thesis in particle phyiscs.
Examination topics
Treatment of problems using methods of theoretical particle physics.
