Aims, contents and method of the course

This compact course is conceived as an introduction to the basic
principles of relativistic quantum field theory (QFT)in the algebraic
formulation together with some important applications. Topics: Observables
and Fields, Superselection sectors, the PCT theorem and the modular
structure of QFT, scattering theory, QFT on curved space-times.
