Aims, contents and method of the course

Exercises for 260085 VO Quantum information (2025S) - Aims: Understanding and solving problems in quantum information; Contents: Exercises and concepts that are discussed in VO Quantum information (2025S) course; it complements the lectures.
The course will be held on-site unless the Covid-19 rules of the Vienna University change.

Assessment and permitted materials

The students will be evaluated according to:
1-Attendance and proper attempt in the courses.
2-Solving exercises at the blackboard, and uploading them on time.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Prerequisites: Quantum mechanics and linear algebra.

For passing the course: Attendance of >80% for the classes is mandatory; more than 60% of exercises done and at least one presentation at the blackboard.

Examination topics

All that we learn during classes and home assignments.
