Aims, contents and method of the course

Simple solvable models of Statistical Physics, caculation of renormalization group trajectories, calculation of cluster and high temperatur expansions.

Assessment and permitted materials

Students give a talk.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Deepening of the knowledge of statistical Physics, learning of the mechanisms to obtain phase transitions.

Examination topics

Trasfer matrix methods, renormalization group methods, cluster expansions, high temperature expansions.
