Aims, contents and method of the course

Goal: Basic understanding of current status and problems in neutrino physics
Content:
Phenomenology (neutrino sources, neutrino detection, neutrino oscillations)
Theory (Dirac and Majorana mass terms, seesaw mechanism, tree-level neutrino masses in extensions of the Standard Model, radiative neutrino masses)
Method: ex-cathedra teaching

Assessment and permitted materials

Written exam, no supporting material allowed

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Grading: maximal number of points = 60, minimal number of points for positive grade = 30 points
0 - 29 points: 5
30 - 38 points: 4
