Aims, contents and method of the course

As part of this orientation event on 01.10.2024, 09:00-18:00, the faculty management welcomes students in their first semester of the Bachelor's degree programs in Physics, Teaching Physics and Astronomy and Meteorology and gives them a first insight into studying at the faculty. You will receive useful information from the Director of Studies about starting your studies, the organization of your studies and the structure of the degree programmes. The lecturers and tutors of the 1st semester modules will introduce themselves and explain how their courses are held. You will also receive information on how to use the services of the Central Physics Library. The physics student representatives will give you an insight into what kind of support and advice they can offer, introduce you to the first semester tutorials and what opportunities you have to network with your fellow students. You will also be able to take part in building tours and library tours and receive tips and tricks for registering for courses and exams.
