Assessment and permitted materials
Course with immanent examination character. Active participation during the intensive beam time week. This includes, in addition to performing the experiment, discussion in the meetings and taking minutes of the experiment). Each participant gives a 25-minute introductory presentation and after the data analysis a 25-minute presentation on the execution of the experiment. Evaluation criteria for the presentation are comprehensibility, completeness, scientific correctness and quality of the presentation on the assigned topic. The preparation of the protocol is done as a joint group work with an overall grade, each person is jointly responsible for the entire content of the protocol. Assessment criteria for the protocol are comprehensibility, completeness, scientific correctness and quality (text language, graphics).
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
The active participation in the experiment during the intensive week as well as the protocol count 1/3 each for the overall grade, the last third is made up of the two presentations in equal parts. For a positive grade, each partial achievement must be delivered and the weighted average of the partial grades must be positive. Each partial achievement will be graded separately, the overall grade will be the mean value according to the above weighting.
Participation in the internship units is mandatory. Absence of more than 10 percent of the total time (this corresponds to a half day) requires a formally comprehensible excuse or leads to a negative grade.
