Focus: Quantum Structure and Geometry of Space, Time and Matter.;Contents: Connections in vectorbundles and associated principal bundles. G-structures and G-connections. Connections on manifolds, esp. Riemannian. Curvature, torsion. Topological quantum numbers (characteristic classes). Lagrangian field dynamics. Conservation laws. Standard lecture course

To pinpoint structural similarities and differences in the kinematics of relativistic gravitation (general relativity) and Gauge Theory.
Examination topics
Basic ideas and concepts of General Relativity and Gauge Theory and their comparison
