Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Students prepare and coach a research process of pupils in the field of physics research, aided by in-service phytsics teachers (six groups of pupils, upper secondary).

Assessment and permitted materials

Course with immanent character

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Elaboration of adequate epistemic beliefs on the nature of physics research, development of physics lessons on processes in the field of physics research and the physicist's work.

Examination topics

Students reflect their own epistemic beliefs on the nature of science and have the opportunity to observe physicists in action. Based on this experience they coach pupils doing investigation in a physics research environment on their own. Together with in-service-teachers and coached by the course's team they create a design to implement the topic nature of science in physics lessons.
