260056 VO Physics of nanostructures (2007S)

The lecture will give a basic introduction into the physics of molecular nanostructures and molecular solids. The properties of these materials are as mesoscopic systems depending on their size and dimension determined by molecular physics or solid state physics and can be described either in the classical limit or in the framework of quantum mechanics. Preconditions: Solid knowledge in general physics and basics of solid state physics and quantum mechanics.
