Aims, contents and method of the course

Focus: Theory of quantum structure and geometry of space, time and matter atomic and subatomic physics Entanglement of quantum systems, density matrices of mixed quantum states, open quantum systems, master equations, decoherence, geometry of quantum states in the Hilbert space, entanglement witnesses, applications in particle physics, kaonic qubits, entanglement and relativistic effects, Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen correlations in gravitational field.

Assessment and permitted materials

Talk on chosen subject and articles and in addition a written handout

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Study of the modern developments of quantum physics with respect to quantum information.

Examination topics

Mathematics of theoretical physics.
