Aims, contents and method of the course
Approaches to a quantum theory of gravity: covariant (perturbation theory, path integral, asymptotic safety) and canonical (loop quantum gravity); semiclassical approximation (quantum field theory in curved spacetime).

Oral examination
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
To address the problem of quantizing gravitation and present an overview of proposed solutions.
