Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
In this seminar, recent results and ongoing research from the field of Quantum Information and Quantum Many-Body Physics are discussed; with a special focus on Tensor Network methods. The seminar addresses students of Physics and Mathematics alike. It is organized by the research group "Quantum Information and Quantum Many-Body Physics" at the Faculty of Physics and Faculty of Mathematics (https://schuch.univie.ac.at). Speakers include group members, external guests, and students registered for the course.
Assessment and permitted materials
Each participant presents one research paper on a current topic in the seminar, jointly with one other participant. Supervision for studying the paper and preparing the presentation will be provided.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Regular attendance, presentation of one research paper (jointly with another participant) as described above. The grade will be determined by the quality of the presentation (feedback on this will be provided during the preparation).
