Learning about research issues on teaching for equity in an interdisciplinary context based on gender and diversity theories
Learning about observation as a research method, observation of lessons and analysing observation protokcols focussing on teaching for equity

Examination topics
Interactive class, reading and discussing scientific literature, running through the research process by using methods of qualitative research- planning, observing an analysing group discussions (The course is integrated in the research project “Dealing with gender and diversity constructively” which is conducted in cooperation with the IUS, University of Klagenfurt on the behalf of the Federal Ministry of Education and Culture).
