Aims, contents and method of the course

Physical foundations, linearized theory of gravitation, Riemannian geometry, Einstein's field equations, Schwarzschild solution, black holes, relativistic cosmology, gravitational waves
(Focus: Theory of quantum structure and geometry of space, time and matter).

Development of the mathematical apparatus of General Relativity and its application to phenomena in astrophysics and cosmology.
