Neues Update vom 29.04.2020: das Seminar findet für den Rest des Semesters per Videokonferenz statt. Alle angemeldeten TeilnehmerInnen können sich zur regulären Seminarzeit in Moodle anmelden und den jeweiligen Vortrag über BigBlueButton mitverfolgen. Mindestanforderungen und Beurteilungsmaßstab bleiben unverändert, wobei die Anwesenheit beim Login auf Moodle registriert wird.

Update Coronavirus/Covid-19 Pandemie:
Nach dem derzeitigen Stand (vorbehaltlich der weiteren Entwicklung der Situation mit Covid‐19) findet die erste Präsenzeinheit für das Seminar "Aktuelle Probleme der Aerosoldynamik, Aerosoloptik" am Mittwoch, den 22.04.2020 statt. Sie werden per Email und Moodle über Aufgaben und Termine informiert. Die bereits vereinbarten Kursmodalitäten werden sich der Situation entsprechend ändern.

Aims, contents and method of the course

The aim is to deal with relevant research topics on aerosol physics, with a special focus on aerosol dynamics and aerosol optics.
Method: Presentation and discussion of current literature or current master and doctoral theses. Furthermore, the status of ongoing research projects is presented.

Assessment and permitted materials

Continuous assessment course.
Presentation of a topic previously agreed with the teachers (current literature or master's or doctoral thesis).

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Minimum requirements
- Compulsory attendance, unexcused absence is allowed twice
- Presentation is mandatory.

Assessment criteria
- Presentation: 70% of the total points
- Participation in discussions (constructive, technically correct contributions and engagement in the discussions of the presentations): 30% of the total points

In order to attain a positive grade at least 50.00% of the total points must be achieved.
The grading key for assessment is:
Very good: 100.00% - 87.00%
Good: 86.99% - 75.00%
Satisfactory: 74.99% - 63.00%
Sufficient: 62.99% - 50.00%
Not sufficient: 49,99% - 0,00%
