Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Topics will include: Geometry of the set of quantum states, general quantum measurements and operations and their representation, quantum entanglement, separability criteria, Bell's theorem, multipartite entanglement, elements of quantum communcation (quantum teleportation, dense coding etc.), quantum gates and elements of quantum computing (Deutsch-Josza, Grover algoritm etc.)

Assessment and permitted materials

One single written exam including topics from the lectures and problem classes. You have to collect 50+% of points to pass the exam. No course materials or textbooks will be allowed during the exam.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Prerequisites: Quantum mechanics and linear algebra
