Assessment and permitted materials

EVALUATION
Oral examination covering the topics given in the contents. Requirements for a positive assessment are a thorough understanding of the relevant physical phenomena, presenting and processing the information using graphs and calculations where appropriate, and drawing valid conclusions supported by justification.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

GOALS
Lecture to be used for bachelor and master studies. Recommended as preparation for "Materials Physics Lab Course” and “Advanced Materials Lab Course”. Education in the most important phenomena of Materials Physics and of their physical backgrounds. Understanding of connections between structure and properties of materials, with emphasis on superconductivity and superconducting materials

Examination topics

METHODS
Lecture with visualization and media support. Handouts of scripts with figures and images will be distributed as hard copies and via the eLearning system.
