Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The aim of the course is to provide an overview over concepts of complex systems and to prepare the students methodically for the following course. The introduction to mathematical foundations of the theory of complex adaptive systems will be illustrated with classical applications in complex systems; scaling - probability & random processes - networks - statistical mechanics - evolutionary processes

Two out of three questions based on the topics of the course have to be answered sufficiently.
