Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

The aim of the course is to provide an overview over concepts of complex systems and to prepare the students methodically for the following course. The introduction to mathematical foundations of the theory of complex adaptive systems will be illustrated with classical applications in complex systems; scaling - probability & random processes - networks - statistical mechanics - evolutionary processes.
Students will have access to the course material through a link before the lecture; during lecture time details and questions can be discussed, the invitation will be sent by email.
