Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

These are the exercise sessions of the Course 260119 VO Physik der kondensierten Materie (WS2019) and they form one unit with the former. Students prepare and discuss exercises related to the topics covered in the lecture. The homework sets will be distributed weekly.

The PUE is an examination-immanent course and serves as preparation for the module exam. Registration for the PUE is not mandatory but recommended.
Note: With the registration for the PUE the participation is obligatory. Cancellation of this course is possible until Th 31.10.2019 23:59.

Assessment and permitted materials

All students enrolled after the cancellation deadline will be graded in accordance with PUE criteria as stated below.
The grade of the PUE is NOT included in the grade of the module examination.
The certificate required for the module (VO + PUE) is received by the completion of the module examination.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

For grading participation in the class in form of presentations and discussions are considered. In order to attain a positive grade students have to participate at least 80% and give at least two presentations on exercises in class that are completed.

The subject is associated with the topics of the lecture „Physik der kondensierten Materie“ (260119).
