Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Students will apply the knowledge of the lecture „Nanotechnologie: Konzepte, Methoden, Materialien“ to concrete exercises and tasks. This will not only deepen their understanding but does also serve as perfect preparation for the modul exam which will also contain similar exercises. Students will present their uploaded submissions. The discussion will cover alternate solutions as well as annonymous mistakes in the submissions.

Assessment and permitted materials

The exercises for all courses are provided via Moodle one week in advance. The first exercises will be available at 01.10.2024. Students can upload their solutions until 08:30. A submitted exercise is valid if it can be considered as a proper attempt. The valid submissions are managed in a check mark. At submission students tick the corresponding exercises, and if necessary teachers will override the points and provide a short feedback. Please do always provide a universally readable pdf along your other submission formats. Around noon the teacher will provide example solutions.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Every student enrolled after the 31.10 will be graded.
The grade of the course is based on the percentage x of submitted (and valid) exercises. You can trace your current percentage in the cross list at Moodle.
5 x < 50%
4 50% <= x < 62.5%
3 62.5% <= x < 75%
2 75% <= x < 87.5%
1 87.5% <= x

The grade of the PUE is without consequences. The only way to receive ECTS from the entire module (VO+PUE) is to pass the modul exam
