Aims, contents and method of the course

Measuring systems for elasticity and plasticity of micromaterials, strain measuring methods, contacting methods, non-contacting (laserspeckle and laserinterferometer), cyclic deformation: hysteresis, life-time estimation, crack initiation, physics of failure, microfracture mechanics; Thermal properties (laserspecklei nterferometry, correlation technique), AFM.
