Symmetries in classical mechanics and field theory, Noether theorem, Lie groups and Lie algebras, space-time symmetries, representation theory of the rotation group, representation theory of the Lorentz group, representation theory of the Poincare group, discrete symmetries, internal symmetries, Wigner-Weyl vs Nambu-Goldstone realization of a symmetry in quantum field theory, Goldstone theorem, spontaneously broken global and local gauge symmetries, chiral symmetry in QCD, anomalies in quantum field theory
