Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Introduction to fundamental concepts and methods of experimental physics. Topics related to the lecture Introduction to Physics I include measurement of gravitational and electrostatic interaction forces, measurement of light velocity, conservation of energy and momentum, methods for measurement of surface tension and viscosity of liquids, study of flow processes in liquids and gases, propagation of waves, temperature measurement and calorimetry.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Acquire experience in performing and evaluating physics experiments. Gain knowledge of several measurement methods.
