Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

The lecture will introduce into the various aspects of the identification, characterisation and control of complex quantum systems. Theoretical structures and methods as well as experimental implementations will be discussed. Specific subjects to be dealt with are quantum chaos, semiclassical theory, wave packet dynamics and transport theory, random matrix theory, disorder- and/or interaction-induced quantum effects, entanglement theory and dynamics. The seminar will complement the lecture by understanding and discussing relevant publications, with presentations by the participating students.
