Elasticity: basic principles, static and dynamic methods (resonance)
Plasticity: basic principles, tensile, bending and shear deformation for micro samples, Indentationmethods.
Strain measuring methods: basic principles; contacting methods with strain gauges, noncontacting (laserspeckle and laserinterferometer).
Cyclic deformation: basic principles; hysteresis curves, lifetime estimation and microstructure, crack initiation, physics of failure, micro fracture mechanics.
Thermal properties (laser speckle interferometry, correlation technique, AFM).
