Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Seminar of the group Physics of Functional Materials. Speakers include students, group members, as well as guest scientists.
Assessment and permitted materials
Course with continuous assessment; presence and participation required. Each student has to present a short talk on a physics' topic of her/his choice (10-12 min) and another talk on a scientific topic (45 minutes).
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
The rules for "prüfungsimmanente Lehrveranstaltungen" apply. Attendance at all units is mandatory.
Active participation/discussion: max. 1 point/unit
Short talk: max. 6 points
Scientific talk: max. 20 pointsFor a positive grade a minimum of 7 points for active participation, 3 points for the short talk and 10 points for the scientific presentation are required (20 in total).Grading key:
36-40: Excellent (1)
31-35: Good (2)
