The Laboratory course provides the possibility to get ready for a diploma theses in the field of materials physics. Experimental and analytical work will be performed under the guidance of the supervisor of the course. The principles of scientific research will be elucidated. Planned experiments are scanning probe microscopy and scanning tunneling spectroscopy as well as Raman scattering.
