Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

The course topics are: Foundations (Sets, numbers, and maps), sequences, elementary functions, infinite sums, continuity, differentiability, Taylor series and power series, integrals, Fourier series.

The course content follows mainly the first part of the book Anton Deitmar: "Analysis" (3. Auflage, Springer Spektrum, eBook of the university library).

Assessment and permitted materials

Written multiple choice exam (90 minutes).

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

To pass the exam at least half of the grading points overall have to be achieved. 20 points can be achieved. Grading:
10.0 - 12.2 genügend
12.3 - 14.9 befriedigend
15.0 - 17.2 gut
17.3 - 20.0 sehr gut
