Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Ability to apply, present, and discuss the contents of the
corresponding lecture.

The grade is based on the points p_T for the tests, p_A for the solved problem sets and p_M for the presentation. This leads to a maximum of p = p_A+ p_M +p_T ≤ 36 points. To pass the course one needs to obtain a total of p ≥ 18 points, as well as p_T ≥ 8, and solve at least 60% of the homework problems. The precise grading criteria can be found on the Moodle-page of the lecture.
