Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The lecture gives a general survey of the bases of the synchrotron radiation, extremely intensive ray of light which is produced in synchrotron storage rings. Generation and characteristics of synchrotron radiation, as well as some of its many applications will be discussed. The lecture will be illustrated with recent results. Special emphasis will be placed on the dynamics in solid state.
