Aims, contents and method of the course

New developments in condensed matter physics and materials science are discussed. The main focus is on computational methods. Additionally seminar talks are given by invited international lecturers .

Acquiring first hand knowhow on computational materials science and computational condensed matter physics.

Examination topics

Participants have to attend the seminar and prepare a seminar talk.
