Aims, contents and method of the course

ECTS-points: 2
Given that just mathematics is quite often experienced as the emajor stumbling block in the early parts of the curriculum the aim is to provide repeated exposition of the issues at hand, quite often from a different viewpoint or with additional aspects, so as to facilitate and enhance understanding and ability to apply the methods presented within the main lecture.
