Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Pupils often criticize missing practical applications of physics from classes. One main objective of the lecture and workshop is to demonstrate how connections between physics and common-place activities can be made in classroom settings. Theoritical input is balanced with independent work and exercises.
Assessment and permitted materials
Oral exam
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Students should develop a catalogue of physic topics related to every day life. This includes technically incorrect articles from popluar scientific publications and inaccuracies in films. Additionally students will be able to make further connections on their own after completing this course.
