Aims, contents and method of the course

Oral exam at the end of the semester
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Knowledge on physical statistics including quantum statistics, structure and properties of solids, experimental methods in solid state physics, introduction to modern materials.
Examination topics
Oral lecture (blackboard) with additional electronic media (transparencies and ppt presentation) and possibility for interaction with the students.
