Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

At the beginning environmentally relevant topics are searched, such as possibilities to reduce greenhouse emissions, efficient environmental management, gas cleaning, natural disasters, environment and health, energy transformation. The participants of the seminar prepare a presentation by reading related publications. The presentation is followed by an intense discussion. Additionally excursions to environmentally relevant installations will be organized.

Assessment and permitted materials

The oral presentations of the students, the reports of the site visits and the participation in the discussions will used to determine the grade.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Understanding the complex interrelations in the environment and site visits to existing plants and discussion with the operators.
