Aims, contents and method of the course
Gates (Inverter, NAND, AND, NOR, etc.) Design and realization of a 4 bit dekoderUse of a standard PC printer port to output 8 bit dataProgramming of a standard printer port in CUse of memory elements (flip-flop, latches, etc.) Output of 12 bit data through the standard PC printer port with simple addressing techniques (byte slicing, latching, etc.)Signal processing: Design and realization of a 12 bit data stream (standard printer port) and conversion into an analog signal (12 bit DAC)Acquisition of 12 bit data from a 12 Bit ADC through the standard printer port of a PC using simple addressing techniques (byte slicing, latching)PC based data acquisition and process controlling (problem analysis, solution concepts, choice of interfaces. Example: controlling of a analog programmable HV-Module) Utilisation of a process control concept to tackle a complex measurement problem with standard meta languages (Labview, Testpoint).
