Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Particle physics, quantum mechanics and theory of relativity are important components of teaching high school physics in the classroom. The course is addressed to students, who have already completed courses related to the subject matter of modern physics. Within the course 'Didactics of modern physics' students plan teaching sequences using educational reconstruction and present and discuss them. In the end the students reflect their own learning and individual development of competencies in portfolio form.
Assessment and permitted materials
Active contributions in the in-class lecture and the electronic discussion forum.
Examination paper at the end of the course.
Examination paper at the end of the course.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Regular attendance
Development and presentation of a specific classroom activity
Additional studies as substitution for absence in the seminar
