Aims, contents and method of the course

Lectures in nutritional biochemistry with a substantial background in chemistry and biochemistry. Emphasis on biochemical and physiological fundamentals of nutrition. Discussion of protein, fats, carbohydrate and energy and their roles and interrelationships in nutrition and metabolism.
Method: The contents of the courses are developed through lectures.

Assessment and permitted materials

written exam with open questions

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Knowledge of fundamental biochemical reactions of carbohydrates, fats and proteins for energy production
at least 50 out of 100 points must be achieved in the written exam

Examination topics

All content and submission materials included in the course, which are sent to all lecture participants who were registered and present by mail automatically shortly before / shortly after the lecture.
