Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Significance of phase diagrams; unary systems; binary systems (different types of invariant reactions); ternary systems (monovariant and invariant reactions); quaternary systems; various methods of representation
Assessment and permitted materials
oral examination
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Understanding and use of phase diagrams.
During the examination we well discuss literature phase diagrams (binary and ternary). Students have to show, based on specific questions, that they are able to read and correctly understand those diagrams.
