Aims, contents and method of the course

Software packages suitable for various methods in molcular modeling and molecular calculations will be presented. The Introduction into the programs HYPERCHEM, Alchemy and Gaussian will be followed by practical work. Moreover, molecular geometries and molecular properties will be calculated by simple ab initio procedures. Also the search of molecular structures and properties in various data banks will be treated in the course
