Aims, contents and method of the course

The selected examples are grouped into 6 units which deal with typicaö problems of General Chemistry:
a) nomenclature and chemical equations
b) concentrations and stoichiometry
c) solubility of salts and behavior of gases
d) redox reactions and coordination compounds
e) acids and bases, pH value
f) chemical equilibrium and topics of qualitative analysis
Each unit consists of one part where the methods to solve the problems are demonstrated, and one part where the sudents' ability to solve the problems is tested

Das Verständnis der Studenten für die grundlegenden Konzepte der Allgemeinen Chemie wird anhand verschiedener Übungsaufgaben vertieft.
